Each educational institution will offer free coaching to 100 students, with 50 slots allocated for medical and 50 for engineering aspirants. To be eligible for admission to these coaching classes, candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their 10th-grade examination.
Instructions Given To Collector And District Education Officers
In this regard, the Department of School Education has issued directives to all Collectors and District Education Officers to ensure the necessary arrangements for coaching. The issued letter states that the selection of the primary educational institution for coaching has not been finalized yet. Therefore, coaching for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics will commence through offline means from government institutions. Suitable buildings or classrooms will be selected for conducting these coaching sessions. Additionally, under this scheme, daily online classes for NEET and JEE competitive exams will be organized, covering subject-specific content, through SCERT Raipur.
Selection Will Be Done On The Basis Of Merit
Under the Swami Atmanand Coaching Yojana introduced by the Chhattisgarh government, regular 12th-grade students from government schools in development block towns can enroll in coaching programs. Coaching for the subjects of Biology and Mathematics for students in the 11th and 12th grades will be available in the classrooms of development block headquarters’ schools. In cases where more applications are received than the fixed number of seats, selection for coaching will be based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the 10th-grade examination.
According to this scheme, coaching sessions will take place from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Subject-specific training will be prepared by the District Education Officer.
Honorarium Will Be Given To Nodal Officers
