On March 23rd, Chief Secretary Satish Chandra of the Higher Education Department in Andhra Pradesh issued guidelines for the implementation of the Jagananna videshi vidya deevena scheme. The following guidelines were issued by the department:

In light of this nationwide lockdown, the state government has made provisions for students who receive school lunches to have them delivered to their homes.
